In January of this year, a law went into effect that requires Minnesota schools to provide access to free menstrual products to students in grades 4 through 12.
How have ignorant MAGAts reacted to this bill that Gov. Walz signed into law and the fact that VP Harris chose him as her running mate? As expected, they resorted to their usual juvenile name calling.
After presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris announced Walz as her running mate on August 6, MAGA media figures launched a slew of desperate, bigoted, and weird attacks against Walz. Conservative pundits responded to the news with anti-Muslim, anti-trans, and anti-Black rhetoric alongside criticisms of Walz’s folksy appearance.
The bizarre attacks also came from right-wing figures on social media, who used the 2023 law to mock Walz as “Tampon Tim.”
Democrat Rep. Sandra Feist who was the bill’s sponsor, claimed that data showed “10 per cent of menstruating youth miss school days because of a lack of access to menstrual products.”
What has really freaked out these weirdos the most is: “In addition, these products ‘must be available to all menstruating students,’ including those who use the boys’ toilets.”
