Giuliani Misses Deadline to Turn Over Assets

Former America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani missed a court deadline to turn over assets to Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who won a $146 million defamation judgment against him.

The assets include his New York City apartment, car, sports memorabilia, luxury watches and other items of value to satisfy a $146 million judgment.

Instead, Giuliani showed up at Trump’s polling place on Tuesday, in the Mercedes convertible he was ordered to turn over last week.

Attorneys for Freeman and Moss also discovered that Giuliani had moved most of his assets out of his New York apartment, assets the women are entitled to by court order.

“Save for some rugs, a dining room table, some stray pieces of small furniture and inexpensive wall art, and a handful of smaller items like dishes and stereo equipment, the Apartment has been emptied of all of its contents,” attorney Aaron Nathan wrote on Monday.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman responded to the letter by ordering Giuliani to appear in person for a Thursday hearing in New York.

Giuliani’s attorney is asking for a delay or virtual appearance so that Giuliani can fulfill a contractual obligation to host a live radio program that evening.
