Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, has been nominated to be an ambassador to Greece, as her former fiancee’s father announced in a Truth Social post. The nomination would require Senate confirmation.
The announcement on Tuesday evening comes on the heels of tabloid speculation after Don Jr., 46, was photographed holding hands with a new squeeze, Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, 38. The photos were published by British tabloid rag the Daily Mail, which described them as “incontrovertible proof the soon-to-be First Son has moved on” with a “stunning ‘it girl.’”
Anderson is a model and a friend of Don Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa.
Junior and Guilfoyle began dating in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2020, and have not been seen together since November 12. Trump has reportedly been staying at Anderson’s West Palm Beach townhouse rather than the $15.5m mansion he and Guilfoyle purchased in 2021.
