Video has been uncovered of Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth drinking on the air during a Fox News broadcast.

Hegseth has been fighting against allegations that he has a drinking problem, even as co-workers at Fox News have voiced their concerns. NBC News reported that “ten current and former Fox employees say Trump’s pick for defense secretary drank in ways that concerned his co-workers.”
During an interview with former Fox News employee Megyn Kelly, Hegseth challenged everyone to “check the tape” for work-related drinking problem.s
Mission accomplished.
During Fox News’ All American New Year Live from Nashville, ringing in the 2023 New Year, Hegseth stated, with his children and his wife Jenny on stage, that “tonight it’s bottoms up with all of us up here.”
During the celebratory segment, Hegseth learned he had been chosen by viewers to sit at a dunk drunk tank, where his children attempted to sink him,
Hegseth put down a champagne glass (empty), and approached the tank with a bottle of champagne in his hand. After one of the kids successfully dunked him, Hegseth emerged to take a big swig from the bottle, and scooped up drinks from the drunk tank with his hands. Kiddos followed suit.
Hegseth then stated, I’m going to take one more drink if that’s ok,” and then plunged himself back into the champagne.
As Hegseth returned to sit near his co-hosts, Rachel Duffy declared it a “night the Hegseth kids will never forget.”
Hegseth has promised not to drink if Senators will confirm him to become the next Secretary of Defense.
