A federal judge orders the C.D.C. to temporarily restore pages it removed to comply with Trump’s orders.
A federal judge has ordered the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to temporarily restore the pages it has taken down from its website to comply with President Trump’s executive order barring any references to race, gender identity or sexual orientation.
Judge John D. Bates of the D.C. Federal District Court issued the temporary restraining order at the request of a left-leaning advocacy group, Doctors for America, saying the deletions put “everyday Americans and most acutely, underprivileged Americans” in jeopardy.
The pope rebukes Trump over migrant deportations and refutes VP Vance’s theology
Pope Francis criticized the Trump administration’s stance on migrants, calling the president’s pledge of mass deportations “a major crisis.”
In a strongly worded letter to the U.S. Catholic bishops, Francis wrote that it’s important for Catholics to disagree with any measure that identifies the illegal status of some migrants with criminality.
Francis also said that deporting people — who in many cases have left their own land for reasons of extreme poverty, exploitation and persecution — “damages the dignity of many men and women, and of entire families, and places them in a state of particular vulnerability and defenselessness.”

The remarks were delivered alongside King Abdullah II of Jordan in the Oval Office. “We will have Gaza,” Mr. Trump said. “It’s a war-torn area. We’re going to take it. We’re going to hold it. We’re going to cherish it.”

Nancy Mace Accuses Ex-Fiancé and Business Partners of Sexual Assault and Trafficking in Marathon Floor Speech
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) accused several men – including her former fiancé – of sex crimes against women and children during a lengthy speech on the House floor Monday night.
Mace also accused her state’s top law enforcement official, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson of slow-walking an investigation into the men, which his office later denied.
The congresswoman said four men from her district engaged in sexual human trafficking, rape, voyeurism, and other crimes.
