Law enforcement arrested former Minnesota Vikings’ punter, Chris Kluwe, while he delivered an anti-MAGAt/Fascist Felon speech at Huntington Beach’s (CA) City Council meeting. Kluwe called out The Fascist Felon and the MAGA movement for a number of actions including its terminations of nuclear analysts and FAA employees during in a minute-long speech. As he finished his rant, he told the council he would engage in the “time-honored” tradition of civil disobedience. At that point, law enforcement arrested and ‘punted’ him from the meeting. It is not clear what charges, if any, Kluwe will face.

Over the years, Huntington Beach has increasingly become a MAGAt haven of hate that also defies California’s laws. The state has sued the city for violating housing laws and voting rights. Although the beach side community won the Voter ID case, Governor Newsom signed into law a bill that prohibits local governments from mandating voter identification.
Recently, Huntington Beach declared itself a ‘non-sanctuary city,’ which clearly violates The California Values Act. Passed in 2017, the law was designed to stop local law enforcement from asking individuals about their immigration status or sharing such information with ICE or the Border Patrol.
