Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) is facing a likely censure after Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash) drafted a 2-page resolution he says will be filed today for “repeatedly violating the rules of decorum in the House of Representatives.”
Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) also claims he is introducing a motion to censure.
Clown House Speaker Mike (Moses) Johnson is likely to support one of those motions, saying last night that Green “should be censured.”
Green kicked off some “good trouble” as Democrats protested against the Fascist Felon’s speech on Tuesday night.
Green, who has said in February he plans to try to impeach Trump, told reporters he would not fight against a censure.
“If I broke the rules, then I have to be prepared to suffer the consequences. You don’t break the rules and then demand that you be treated as though nothing ever happened,” the Texas Democrat said.
Watch his explanation after he was removed from the House floor:
During a 2009 speech by President Obama, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) was reprimanded in a bipartisan vote for shouting “You lie!”
During Joe Biden’s presidency, Republicans heckled the President en masse without penalty, repeatedly.

The difference between who is removed and censured for disrupting the President seems to be black and white.
