Happy Friday News Viewers — Good Riddance to another week of insanity, at least in the news. . . I’m reminded of a Twilight Zone episode where a couple wakes up to find their house or block located in some strange time or place — nothing is as it should be, phones don’t work, the block is bounded by nothingness (represented by white foggy smoke)–The Rod Serling version of “Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore. . . .” “Toto, we’re not in America any more. . . . .”
TBH, we haven’t been in Kansas for a LONG time, and we can’t call what’s happening in the U.S. “insanity” when it’s the norm by now, when it’s been going on for at least the past Trump decade. . . . Mountains of fodder for the cartoonists who, unlike Donald, can say it all without holding us hostage to his wordy overblown diatribes. That speech! Good Gawd. I thought the man would never shut up. . . .
Despite it all, the bad and the worse, it’s great to back with you guys and the Friday toons –I got myself moved, but hear me now, all solemn oath-like — MOVE is a four letter word I’ll never say or do again, I don’t care if a bomb is about to be dropped directly onto my head. To move is to go through the Gates of Hell…..NEVER AGAIN. I’m staying put, I’ll bloom where I’m planted, and so on and so forth and what-have-you. . . .😊😏.
