Fox News’ masculinity expert Jesse Watters hosted the DOGE boys in an interview with the team of “special government employees” on Thursday, and our manly man Jesse got to the bottom of Big Balls, the 19-year-old staffer also known as Edward Coristine.
Apparently the teenager used the moniker on his LinkedIn profile. While everyone laughs, failing Tesla CEO chimes in, “LinkedIn is so cringe.”
Coristine, who works in the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, explained he uses “computer stuff” as he claims to ferret out “fraud and waste,” the mantra of his DOGE boss.
Examples of the DOGEbois cluelessness passed off as prodigal genius:
- Coristine says: “You look at a specific line item, $20 million. Okay, what is it going to? For the majority of payment systems it’s like, we don’t really know.”
- Another DOGEboi repeated the “I see dead people” getting paid Social Security mantra, to the tune of $330 million — but produced no evidence.
- Ethan Shaotran said that working at DOGE had significantly damaged his social life, with colleagues at university breaking off friendships. Poor kid quit Harvard, he said, to come to DOGE to serve his country!
Who wasn’t there? Acting administrator for DOGE.
Even though an estimated 250,000 jobs have been eliminated by DOGE firing or buyouts, and federal agencies, grants, services and contracts have been slashed, the Trump administration's spending is actually up 6.3 percent (about $153 billion) over the same period last year when President Biden was in office, according to Treasury data.
