Melania has ‘spent less than 14 days’ at the White House since Trump’s inauguration. . . . From a public sighting of the first lady at Pope Francis’s funeral on the eve of her 55th birthday this weekend, in the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency, Melania Trump has in fact been conspicuous by her absence.”
Per The Palm Beach Post, “The Office of the First Lady advisories show she will host an unveiling of a U.S. Postal Service stamp honoring former First Lady Barbara Bush and a Celebration of Military Mothers. The first lady, who was absent for much of Trump’s presidential campaign, has only made a handful of public appearances since he returned to office. Others include speaking at the International Women of Courage Awards, attending Pope Francis’ funeral and urging lawmakers to pass the Take It Down Act.

The Independent quotes author Nina Burleigh “I have to make clear that this is totally my opinion, but as a long-time observer of the politics of the Maga world and of Trump, of the way they interacted in the first administration, and also from doing my research into her personality and history for the book on the Trump women, I would say that she’s an introvert by nature,” Burleigh says.
The Economic Times reports that Melania does not live in Washington and “vanishes from view for weeks at a time, holing up in Trump Tower in Manhattan or in Florida.” Having largely remained out of the public eye during Trump’s presidential campaign, the First Lady has made only a limited number of appearances since he returned to the White House.
