Local law enforcement and the FBI have launched an investigation into a car explosion outside of a fertility clinic that has killed one person and injured four others. In a post on Facebook, Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills called the incident ‘an intentional act of violence.’ Authorities have identified a person of interest but are not actively seeking out a suspect. The identity of the deceased person and their involvement in the explosion is not yet known. Davis said the person was near the vehicle that exploded.
Late Saturday, multiple law enforcement tactical officers were seen outside a residence in Twentynine Palms, about an hour away from the Palm Springs fertility clinic.
