Scott Adams, the cartoonist who created the comic strip “Dilbert,” said on his podcast on Monday that he has the same kind of aggressive prostate cancer as President Biden that has spread to the bone.
Adams, 67, a Trump supporter, expressed sympathy for President Biden, saying, “I’d like to extend my respect and compassion and sympathy for the ex-president and his family because they’re going to be going through an especially tough time,” adding, “It’s a terrible disease — it’s going to get very painful for the president.”
Adams said he has been using a walker for months and was in a constant state of “intolerable” pain.
Adams admitting using anti-parasitic medications including ivermectin and fenbendazole as a potential cancer treatment, to no effect.
Adams says he expects “to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer,” and plans to implement as a California resident the aid-in-dying drugs available legally to residents of the state.
Adams said that it was possible for President Biden to not have been showing symptoms when he received a clean bill of health from his doctor last year, and noted that the public has been cruel about Biden’s announcement. “There’s no sympathy for Joe Biden for a lot of people,” Adams said. “It’s hard to watch.”
In 2023, many newspapers announced they would stop running the “Dilbert” cartoon due to racist comments made by Adams, who said that white people should “get the hell away from Black people.” Adams claimed his comments were hyperbolic.
