Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is scheduled to testify Tuesday before a House Oversight subcommittee, where lawmakers are expected to question his first five months in office.

Pete Hegseth will testify before Congress today. It will be lawmakers’ first chance to ask Hegseth about controversial spending by the Pentagon, including plans to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on security upgrades to turn a Qatari jet into Air Force One and to pour as much as $45 million into a parade recently added to the Army’s 250th birthday bash, which happens to coincide with Trump’s birthday on Saturday.
Hegseth has spent vast amounts of time during his first five months in office promoting the social changes he’s making at the Pentagon. He’s been far less visible in the administration’s more critical international security crises and negotiations involving Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Gaza and Iran.
Watch live as Pete explains the leaks, the deployment of the Military on citizens of the US on US soil, the lack of services to the Military, which explains troops sleeping on the floor during LA ICE Attack.and the lack of a budget request which was due in February.
