Speaking of the circle of life, I think it’s important in times like these to keep it all in perspective. For instance, we may have thought last week was the absolute worst, but I’ve learned that yesterday a space capsule crashed into the ocean and is lost; it was carrying people people who had paid big bucks to be taken into space after death, not to stay there but apparently make a quick turnaround and back to earth.
This seems to be becoming a Booming Business ,! but I think this is the first time they’ve lost the corpses, yes the entire load of corpses.
I mention Friday and this space business because of the similarities — Friday to Friday or birth death or, beginning and end — we look at the big picture, but we act out the small one, the minute to minute, never linear, always circular. And no matter what happens we’ve probably seen it before or heard of it before or experienced it before. So crazy weeks like this feel familiar, feel new. This is i t feels like to have déjà vu. Another week passed and we got through it.
