Jury Reaches a Verdict in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Case: Guilty on Two of Five Charges

A New York jury found Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs guilty of two of the five charges against him. They acquitted him of the three most serious charges.

  • Count 2: Sex Trafficking By Force, Fraud or Coercion-Not Guilty
  • Count 3: Transportation to Engage in Prostitution-Guilty
  • Count 4: Sex Trafficking By Force, Fraud or Coercion-Not Guilty
  • Count 5: Transportation to Engage in Prostitution- Guilty

The defense won three acquittals, saying Combs was only guilty of the Mann Act transportation of former girlfriends, Cassie Ventura and “Jane.”

He was found not guilty of running a criminal enterprise and two counts of sex trafficking.

The eight men and four jurors deliberated the case for thirteen hours.

Defense attorney Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo asked the court to release Combs from federal detention, where he has been for nearly a year.

Now that Combs is no longer charged with sex trafficking, Agnifilo asked that he be released on conditions to his home in Miami and offered a $1 million bond. has requested New York release Combs on bond pending sentencing.
