Wisconsin Congressman Who Voted for the Big Ugly Insists They are not Trump’s “Little Bitches”

Leading up to the dance around Trump’s Big BS Bill that passed on Thursday with only two Republicans in the House voting against it, one Wisconsin Representative, Derrick Van Orden, told reporters that they were not a bunch of “little bitches” who do exactly what Trump tells them to do.

Van Orden’s little bitches hot potato was passed around the media with glee.

MSNBC’s Jen Psaki got the mocking started Wednesday morning, and contested Van Orden’s assertion on The Briefing With Jen Psaki.

Psaki noted that a recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll found that 83 percent of people approve of Medicaid, 83 percent — including 74 percent of Republicans. Eighty-three percent of people barely agree on anything.

“Kind of feels like their hearts aren’t in” passing the Big BS Bill, Psaki said.

I mean, just listen to how defensive Congressman Derek Van Orden sounded today when asked if they feel pressure from Trump to vote for this bill.

KENZIE NGUYEN (Punchbowl News): For you, I mean, Trump is, Trump is sort of deciding factor here.

REP. DERRICK VAN ORDEN (R-WI): No, no, no, I’m not going to allow you to get away with that. The president of the United States didn’t give us an assignment. We’re not a bunch of little bitches around here. I’m a member of Congress that represent almost 800,000 Wisconsinites. Is that clear?

PSAKI: I mean, listen, when you’re proclaiming out loud that you’re in fact not someone’s little bitch, well, kind of makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Lawrence O’Donnell masterfully discusses Trump’s little bitch at the 10:40 minute mark. Well worth the scroll through.

Stephanie Ruhle and Michael Steele took a turn as well.

Here’s how Van Orden’s spokesperson swats down the accusations.

As it turns out, Trump will have the bill on his desk by July 4, the deadline he gave his little bitches.
