Packers 28 Seahawks 23
In the game just completed the Packers beat the Seahawks.
The Packers started off fast, leading 21-3 at the half. Seattle dominated most of the second half, narrowing the lead to 5 with 4:39 to go. In the end Aaron Rogers kept completing third down passes to run the clock out.
KC 51 Texans 31
In the earlier game today, the Texans got off to a 24 point lead in the first quarter, but that was about it for them. From that point Kansas City scored 51 points while the Texans managed only 7 more point.
In yesterdays games:
San Francisco 27 Minnesota 10
The 49ers ran for 186 yards while the Vikings managed only 21. The Niners are favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Tennessee 28 Baltimore 12
This was the only upset this weekend. The Titans got off to a 28-6 lead over the top seed Ravens. Derrick Henry rushed for 195 yards for the Titans. Raven QB, Lamar Jackson had a poor game passing going 31/59 for 365 yards, with 2 interceptions.
Next weekend the Packers will travel to San Francisco and the Titans will go to Kansas City. Both games are on Sunday.
The Super Bowl is on February 2.
Also the Cleveland Browns hired Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach.
Tomorrow the NCAA football championship will be play. It’s the #3 14-0 Clemson Tigers vs. the #1 LSU Tigers also 14-0.
LSU is a 3 1/2 point favorite.
The game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Game time is 5PM Pacific on ESPN.
