Newly released findings on Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy: Multiple breaks in his neck bones

The Washington Post reported new information on Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy report. The autopsy found Epstein “sustained multiple breaks in his neck bones.”

He also suffered a break to the hyoid bone, “which in men is near the Adam’s apple. Such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject. But they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation, the experts said.”

Barbara Sampson, New York City’s chief medical examiner, completed the autopsy on Sunday but ruled his cause of death as “pending.”

Currently, the warden of Metropolitan Correctional Center has been reassigned and two correctional officers placed on administrative leave.

Authorities have requested more information relating to Epstein’s death including:  video evidence of the jail hallways, toxicology reports, and and interviews with guards and inmates.

This newest development has added more confusion and suspicion into the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death.
