Ohio Attorney General issues a cease and desist letter to Hobby Lobby for violating state’s stay-at-home order

Ohio AG David Yost issued a cease and desist letter to the ‘Christian’ hobby supply chain Hobby Lobby because they violated the state’s ‘stay-at-home’ order. The state does not consider the hobby chain ‘essential’ and ordered them to close their doors because of the risk they pose during the COVID-19 crisis.

The order gave the chain 24 hours to shutter otherwise, they would face a second-degree misdemeanor or be subjected to court order.

The chain closed their Ohio locations on Wednesday and decided to comply with the order.
