While no arrest has been made, agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) teamed with officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department to search the Antioch home believed to be that of Anthony Quinn Warner, multiple sources confirmed to CBS News. Antioch is a neighborhood in Nashville.
According to CBS, Warner, a 63-year-old white male, is said to have a mobile recreational vehicle (RV) that is a similar make and model as the one at the scene of the blast. Video and photos of the RV taken prior to the explosion also appear strikingly similar to Google Maps photographs of a vehicle parked in Warner’s yard in approximately May of 2019.
“A team wearing tactical gear marked with both ATF and FBI insignias entered the residence and cleared the home around 2:30 p.m. The bomb squad confirmed no one was inside, according to FBI personnel at the scene. An evidence team entered the residence around that time to conduct a search,” the Tennessean reported.
Authorities investigating the Christmas explosion in Nashville will swab the mother of suspect Anthony Quinn Warner to determine a match to the remains found in the RV.
Here’s where it gets weird.
A quit claim deed available through Davidson County records shows that on November 25, 2020, Warner, for unclear reasons, gave the property in Antioch to an unmarried Los Angeles, California woman named Michelle Swing for zero dollars. The deed confirms that Warner was unmarried. Michelle L. Swing has ties to Tennessee and is 29 years old, according to online records. Her Facebook page is deleted. Daily Mail reachedSwing and says she claimed she knew nothing about the house, but they called her “Lisa Swing.”
She told Daily Mail: “In the state of Tennessee you can deed property to someone else without their consent or their signature or anything. I didn’t even buy the house he just deeded it over to me without my knowledge. So this all very weird to me, that’s about all I can say.” According to Daily Mail, Swing declined to say whether she had ever met Warner or had family ties to him, saying, “I’ve been told to direct everything else to FBI.”
