DATELINE COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 4-year-old boy was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after an accidental shooting Monday morning.
The Columbus Division of Police said they received a call just after 10:30 a.m. on a report of an accidental shooting in the 1900 block of Maryland Avenue.
The 911 caller told police that the child rolled over onto a gun that way lying on the bed, causing the gun to go off, shooting the child in the leg.
He’s in stable condition.
