Sarah Palin Dined At Multiple Restaurants In NYC After Testing Positive for Covid-19

Sarah Palin hasn’t let a positive test for Covid-19 stop her from dining out while in New York City this week.

Palin’s defamation trial against the New York Times was postponed on Monday following a positive test result.

Palin, who also has touted being unvaccinated, was seen dining inside at Elio’s restaurant on Saturday despite the city’s mandate that indoor diners show vaccination cards.

On Wednesday night, Palin was seen dining outside at the same restaurant, and was also seen dining outside at another Italian restaurant, Campagnola, on Tuesday night.

Elio’s restaurant manager said that Palin showed up to apologize for the “fracas” around her previous visit.

“In accordance with the vaccine mandate and to protect our staff, we seated her outdoors … We are a restaurant open to the public, and we treat civilians the same.”

The vaccine mandate does not apply to outdoor dining, and the city does not issue violations of the vaccine mandate to restaurants unless directly observed by an inspector.

New York City Hall was not pleased and said it was “highly irresponsible” for Palin to refuse to isolate herself, as guidelines advise people to isolate for five days following a positive test to protect others. A spokesperson encouraged “any New Yorker who came into contact with Ms. Palin to get tested, just as we encourage all New Yorkers to get tested regularly, especially those who believe they may have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.”
