President Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder says the DOJ may have no choice but to indict the Former Guy, which is a different position than Holder has previously held.
Holder has said that he initially felt an indictment would be too divisive given the Democratic-led makeup of the January 6 commission, making the effort appear partisan.
Holder now says that given the amount of factual information, there is sufficient proof of intent.
“I’m an institutionalist. My initial thought was not to indict the former president out of concern of how divisive it would be. But given what we have learned, I think that he probably has to be held accountable,” he said.
