According to Marjorie Taylor Greene, our nation’s tampon shortage is not because of supply chain issues but because we’re stocking warehouses on the border with them and allegedly supplying men’s restrooms so transgender men can use them or something, something that no sane person would claim.
Marge’s tweet is in response to a June 12, 2022, NPR article that explains the tampon shortage:
The shortage stems from a combination of factory staffing challenges, transportation bottlenecks, and the rising costs of key raw materials used to make the products, tampon makers say.
No where in NPR’s article does it say that we’re warehousing tampons or stocking men’s bathrooms with them so transgender men can use them. But, Marge has never let facts get in the way of the bullshit she spews.
Earlier, Greene had tweeted, in response to a Fox News clip highlighting the shortage: “Democrat’s {sic} war on women continues.”
Recently, Marge went off about the baby formula shortage we experienced but of course, she was one of nearly 200 Republicans who voted against a bill that would have help remedy the shortage. President Biden, the Biden administration, and the Democratic Party pulled through where Congress failed…again.
Marge also spoke on the conservative Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), alongside host Brian Glenn, Greene argued in favor of global warming, AKA Climate Change. Marge ‘thinks’ global warming is a ‘good thing.’
“We have already warmed 1-degree Celsius and do you know what has happened since then?” Greene said to Glenn while on the show.
“We have had more food grown since then, which feeds people,” she continued. “We are producing fossil fuels, that keeps people’s houses warm in the winter. That saves people’s lives, people die in the cold. This Earth warming and carbon is actually healthy for us. It helps us to feed people, it helps keep people alive, the Earth is more green than it was years and years ago and that is because of the Earth warming.”
