| The Senate passed a bill to avert a rail strike that the Biden administration and business leaders warned would have had devastating consequences for the nation’s economy. The Senate voted 80-15 to bind rail companies and workers to a proposed settlement that was reached between the companies and union leaders in September. That settlement had been rejected by some of the 12 unions involved, creating the possibility of a strike beginning Dec. 9. The measure now goes to President Biden’s desk for his signature. |

Herschel Walker Ex Comes Forward: He Attacked Me in a Rage
Cheryl Parsa, who claims to be Walker’s former longtime girlfriend, alleged Walker attacked her in 2005 by grabbing her neck and attempting to punch her after she caught him with another woman, telling the Daily Beast that he uses his dissociative identity disorder designation to justify “lying, cheating and ultimately destroying families.”
