Updates: E. Jean Carroll v. The Orange Ass

Yesterday, the jury in E. Jean Carroll’s civil rape and defamation lawsuit against The Orange Ass watched the video of TFG’s deposition. A lawyer for Ms. Carroll has released the video for our viewing pleasure.

The deposition, taken in October at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, was filed a day after Carroll’s lawyers rested their case at the trial for the suit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. Trump’s lawyers presented no witnesses of their own.

In one section, TFG mistakes Ms. Carroll for his former wife, Marla Maples, and in another, he insults opposing counsel and tells her that she, also, is not TFG’s type. Ms. Carroll’s attorney, Roberta Kaplan, (no relationship to the judge in the case whose last name is also Kaplan) also asked TFG about the now infamous, Access Hollywood tape, which he replied in the same manner as he did in 2016: locker room talk.

He also added:

“Well, historically, that’s true with stars.”
Kaplan then said, “True with stars that they can grab women?”
Trump replied, “Well, that’s what — if you look over the last million years, I guess that’s been largely true. Not always, but largely true. Unfortunately or fortunately.”

Here are clips from the video and if you want to watch what the jurors saw, I have included that as well:
