President Biden Travels to Israel and Jordan as Crisis Continues

Later today, President Biden and other world leaders will travel to Israel and on to Jordan Wednesday to meet with both Israeli and Arab leadership, as concerns increase that the raging Israel-Hamas war could expand into a larger regional conflict.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Biden’s travel to Israel as the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip grows more dire and as Israel prepares for a possible ground attack on the 141-square-mile (365-square-kilometer) territory to root out Hamas militants responsible for what U.S. and Israeli officials say was the most lethal assault against Jews since the Holocaust.

Hamas releases propaganda clip of hostage seized in Oct. 7 assault on southern Israel

Video shows 21-year-old Mia Schem, who was wounded and kidnapped while attending rave where Palestinian terrorists killed over 260 people; Hamas says 200-250 hostages held in Gaza

Hamas on Monday night released the first clip showing an Israeli hostage being held by the terror group in the Gaza Strip, as it said some 200-250 captives were in the coastal enclave after Palestinian terrorists’ massive onslaught in southern Israel on October 7.

The short video showed a young woman, 21-year-old Mia Schem, being treated after she was wounded in her arm, and later speaking to the camera.

Schem was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists while participating in the desert rave in Kibbutz Re’im, where the gunmen killed over 260 festival-goers as part of the devastating massacre in which over 1,300 people were slain, the vast majority civilians.
