Today is National Cookie Day and for lovers of the sweet treat there are plenty of deals and ideas to celebrate with. This is not to be confused with National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4, 2923. Whether or not there is a National Snickerdoodle, Monster, Oatmeal, Sugar or No-Bake Cookie Day is an open question.
Some cookies, eg., the dreaded and obscure french Macarons, any cookie with walnuts in it, quinoa-sunflower seed health bombs, any cookie with a the name “Divinity’ in it and consisting of an odd merengue situation and of course, any cookies containing carrots and or zucchini (unless cream cheese frosting is dolloped on top). And it goes without saying that mince meat is not qualified to enter for any category as it is notedly mince meaty……
