Business investor and television personality Mark Cuban talked to Jon Stewart on the Daily Show, describing the collective Silicon Valley executive support of Donald Trump as a “takeover thing.”
“They want Trump to be the CEO of the United States of America, and they want to be the board of directors that makes him listen to them,” he told Stewart in the interview.
“You know, they’ve gotten to the point now where they feel like they should control the world,” Cuban said.
“Because they have a good photo app?” Stewart argued.
“Because they’re rich as f‑‑‑, right?” Cuban said, adding that “they’ve lost the connection to real world.”
The full interview is below, where around the 2:00 mark, the discussion of the “dystopian tech-bro phenomenon” begins.
