Bret Baier Admits Running the Wrong Clip During Harris Interview

Fox News host Bret Baier now admits a mistake during the sit-down interview earlier this week with VP Kamala Harris, which was viewed by 11 million people.

Baier said on Thursday at the end of his Special Report show on Fox, he intended to run segments of two clips, one from Maria Bartiromo’s show of Trump talking about “the enemy within,” along with the follow up on Harris Faulkner’s town hall when he was asked to clarify what he meant.

“I did make a mistake, and I want to say that mistake. When I called for a sound-bite, I was expecting a piece of the ‘enemy from within’ from Maria Bartiromo’s interview to be tied to the piece from your town hall, Harris, where you asked the former president about the ‘enemy from within.'”

Mika Brezinski called out the network and host on Friday morning’s episode of Morning Joe, calling the actions an intentional mistake with the mission to mislead viewers.

Baier had gone on Sean Hannity’s program to whine about Kamala showing up late to the interview, suggesting she was “icing the kicker.”
