FBI Releases Photo of ‘Person of Interest’ in Charlie Kirk Assassination
Authorities have released an image of a “person of interest” in the assassination of conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk as they remain engaged in an intense manhunt to find the killer.
“We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” the FBI Salt Lake City office wrote in a social media post on Thursday.

Florida Republican Asks Mike Johnson to Put Charlie Kirk Statue in the Capitol
Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is reportedly asking House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to install a statue of Charlie Kirk in the U.S. Capitol, a day after the Turning Point USA founder was assassinated in Utah.
Luna has been circulating a letter with the request, according to NOTUS reporter Reese Gorman.
“We write to you today with heavy hearts, mourning the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, a patriot, a father, and a fearless voice for conservative values, who was senselessly assassinated on September 10, 2025 at Utah Valley University,” Luna began in the letter.

UPDATE: DNC HQ Bomb Threat Deemed Not Credible After Sweep of Building
Capitol Police on Thursday afternoon responded to a reported bomb threat at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee.
The police activity was reported by Semafor congressional bureau chief Burgess Everett, who added:
Senate staff just got an alert: “Capitol Police are responding to an incident at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Headquarters. Staff are asked to remain clear of the police activity.”

Jesse Watters Sparks Fury With ‘War’ Declaration After Charlie Kirk’s Killing
Fox News host Jesse Watters sparked a wave of condemnation on Wednesday night with his comments on the horrific killing of Charlie Kirk, just hours before he went on air.
“We’re sick, we’re sad, we’re angry, and we’re resolute, and we’re going to avenge Charlie’s death in the way Charlie would want it to be avenged. He was such a beautiful boy, he was an American boy, and he was incredibly positive, he was full of energy, and life, and he made politics fun,” began a clearly emotional Watters, who had a long friendship with Kirk.
Later in his comments, Watter added, “And as Greg [Gutfeld] said, this hits differently, because Charlie was one of us, and Trump gets hit in the ear. Charlie gets shot dead. They came after Kavanaugh with a rifle to his neighborhood. They went after Musk’s cars. They just shot two Jews outside the embassy. Think about it. Scalise got shot, barely survived. It’s happening. We got trans shooters. We got riots in LA.”
