YouTube Pays Trump $24 Million to Settle Lawsuit

YouTube has agreed to a payment of $24 million to the extortionist in the White House to settle a 2021 lawsuit claiming he was a victim (SHOCK!) of censorship when his account was suspended following the January 6 insurrection.

Parent company of YouTube, Google, will dedicate $22 million of the settlement money toward Trump’s big beautiful ballroom. The settlement documents state that a nonprofit called the Trust for the National Mall is being tapped to finance the Mar-a-Lago style renovations.

YouTube joins other tech/social media companies Meta and X in kissing the ring over Trump’s claims of censorship following the January 6 riots.

Free speech experts have said the trio of suits brought by Trump did not raise credible legal claims, since First Amendment protections typically apply to government officials, not private companies, censoring speech. Yet the tech industry has lined up one by one to make public displays of their eight-digit deals to conclude the litigation.
