MADELEINE DEAN: The president is unhinged. He's unwell JOHNSON: A lot of folks on your side are too D: Oh my god, please. That performance in front of the generals? J: I didn't see it D: It's so dangerous! Our allies are looking elsewhere. Our enemies are laughing. You have a POTUS who's unwell.

“The president is unhinged. He is unwell.”
In the video, it appears Moses Mike seemingly agrees that the (p)resident is ‘unwell’ but argues that he is not the only one:
“A lot of folks on your side are too, I don’t control him…”
Earlier in the day, Rep. Dean confronted Moses Mike about The Fascist Felon sharing an AI-generated deepfake video on Truth Social showing House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero with a fake mustache and Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer is saying: “If we give all these illegal aliens healthcare, we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us” while Mariachi music played in the background.
“It wasn’t my style. It’s not my style,” Johnson tells Dean about Trump’s post.
“Not your style? It’s disgraceful. It’s racist. You should call it out,” Dean responds.
Johnson then questions whether it was racist.
“Is it racist to put a sombrero on a Black man who’s the leader of the House? You don’t see that as racist?” Dean asks.
Dean tells Johnson, “We need you desperately to lead,” and he replies with a smile, “I’m working on it,” and says something about not taking it personally.
“I love you and I respect you,” Johnson says.
“That’s why I’m talking to you,” Dean replies.
Hours before the government shutdown, Moses Mike sat for a brief interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and appeared to backtrack his confrontation with Rep. Dean.
“I’m the Speaker of the House, so I represent Republicans and Democrats in that capacity, and I always hear complaints and concerns from members, and I always stop and hear that. I did that for Madeleine Dean, I respect her as an individual,” Johnson said.
“We disagree on every policy matter, and she was concerned about a social media post of the president, which he meant as a joke, and we talked about that. I told her I disagreed with her perspective on it, but I tried to bring her back to the real issue. The fight tonight is not about social media posts. The fight is about where they‘re going to keep the government open for the American people.”
