Just in time for what is expected to be one of the largest demonstrations in modern history, the No Kings rally, and amidst a government shutdown, The Fascist Felon plans to hold a ‘vanity parade’ in Southern California to celebrate the Marine Corps 250th anniversary. Trumps’ ‘vanity parade’ will force closing portions of Interstate 5 and may involve Navy warships shooting live missiles into Camp Pendleton as a “show of force.”
Interstate 5, Southern California’s economic backbone, carries more than 80,000 daily travelers and moves $94 million in freight every day between San Diego and Orange Counties.
JD Vance is expected to be present and intends to lead the parade. Although completely unpaid at this moment because of the Republican Government shutdown, the Marines have been ordered to attend this bullshit.
And California Governor Gavin Newsom is pissed off!
A Newsom spokesperson said, “California always honors our Marines, but this isn’t the right way to go about it.
“The White House should focus on paying their military, lowering grocery prices, and honoring these soldiers for their service instead of pompous displays of power.
“The lack of coordination and communication from the federal government on this event, and the overall impact to our society and economy, is evident of the larger disarray that is the Trump administration.”
