TGIF People, and Happy Halloween or (oops 🙂 “Happy Trick or Treat” Day — isn’t that the new name for Halloween? Or “Happy Knock on Doors of Strangers Wearing a Disguise” day — better yet, UnHappy Trumploween . . . .
In honor of the day, I put the Clay Bennett cartoon first in line, because it says it all — there’s no treat this fine day — SO, kids knocking on doors expecting the usual response , Be Warned. When the door is opened, you’ll be given nothing from the people of the house and the door will be slammed in your face. No treat, just trick.
In fact, let’s change up a beloved old expression just for today; Term Two of Trumploween — ” Trick me once, shame on you,, trick me twice, shame on me.” (Trick me thrice? NOT gonna happen GOP, because I’ll be knocking on doors again and yelling “VOTE. . . .”)
