Moses Mike Johnson Bigly Upset the Senate Passed the Epstein Bill Without Changes

Although Speaker Moses Mike Johnson voted for the the Epstein Transparency Act on Tuesday, he hoped the Senate would make the changes he wanted but Senate Leader Mike Thune rejected Johnson’s final attempt to shield and protect The Fascist Felon. Now Johnson is bigly upset with the Senate for approving the Epstein Transparency Act, despite voting for it himself.

When the bill reached the Senate floor, Senator Thune was a no show. Thune had already spoken with the Senate GOP legal counsel who decided the legislation was “sufficient.” The Senate effectively approved the legislation by unanimous consent mere hours after House passage Tuesday afternoon without provisions sought by Johnson, including additional victim and whistleblower name protections.

“Our lawyers obviously had looked closely at some of the issues and had concluded that the bill I think was, you know, sufficient to accomplish what needed to be done here, and that is to get the information out there as quickly as possible,” Thune said.

Mike Johnson earlier: “I called Thune and shared our deep concerns. So I’m very confident that when this moves forward in the process, the senate will take the time to methodically amend this discharge petition.” The Senate: bsky.app/profile/acyn…
