The Fascist Felon’s Latest Pardons:

Trump pardons Honduran ex-president who was convicted of drug crimes

President Trump has officially pardoned former Honduran President, Juan Orlando Hernández, who US officials said was at the center of one of the largest and most violent drug-trafficking conspiracies in the world.

A White House official not authorized to speak on the record confirmed the pardon was granted and the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed his release on Monday.

Hernández, who served two terms as the leader of the Central American nation, had been sentenced to 45 years for conspiring to import cocaine to the United States.

The pardon of such a high-profile convicted drug trafficker, however, has led to accusations of deceit and hypocrisy by the Trump administration as it comes while the president and his team continue to escalate his military campaign against drug trafficking out of Venezuela.

Federal agents begin immigration operations in New Orleans and Minneapolis

The operations were launched a day after President Donald Trump said he’d be sending National Guard troops to New Orleans and disparaged Somali immigrants in Minneapolis.

The Trump administration launched immigration enforcement operations in New Orleans and Minneapolis on Wednesday, a day after President Donald Trump said he would be sending National Guard troops to Louisiana.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement about the New Orleans operation that it is “targeting criminal aliens roaming free thanks to sanctuary policies that force local authorities to ignore U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrest detainers,” or requests to hold people authorities have arrested for ICE.

Trump had not specified as of Wednesday morning how many guard troops he would send.

Osman: "President Trump singling out one group of people & ICE being on our streets & asking people for documentation, it feels like we're in 1930s Germany. I never thought there would be a time where I will tell my community to carry their passport around bc if you look Somali you might be stopped"
