Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the U.S. offered security guarantees for the next 15 years during peace talks at Mar-a-Lago, even though Zelensky would like 50 years of security guarantees. Trump says they are “close to 95%” there.
If there is an agreement on security guarantees, Zelensky still has two core issues still unresolved: Ukrainian territories and the future of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, which is currently in a Russia-controlled area.

Trump did back off a deadline for peace, and Zelensky avoided any drama that derailed talks, which are to continue in January in the U.S., possibly with European leaders along.
Trump of course spoke with Putin before the meeting.
Trump lap dogs continue to excuse Trump’s pro-Russia stance.
