Danish Ambassador on Defense Over MAGA Post on Greenland

Following an attack on Venezuela and the capture of its president Nicolas Maduro, MAGA wasted no time in returning their focus to another takeover, that of Greenland.

Podcaster and wife of shadow president Stephen Miller, Katie Miller, took to X on Saturday to post a map of Greenland draped in the flag of the United States.

Copenhagen’s ambassador to the US, Jesper Møller Sørensen, reposted Miller’s provocation with a “friendly reminder” of the longstanding ties between the two countries.

Trump recently named Jeff Landry, the governor of Louisiana, as a special envoy to Greenland. Landry, a former state attorney general, thanked Trump for his appointment in December, saying it was “an honor to serve you in this volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the U.S.”

Since taking office in January, Trump has had sights on Greenland, which is seen as strategically important for defense and as a future source of mineral wealth. Trump has refused to rule out military action to take control of Greenland as the U.S., China, and Russia jockey for a position of power in the Arctic.

“I don’t rule it out. I don’t say I’m going to do it, but I don’t rule out anything. No, not there. We need Greenland very badly,” Trump told NBC in May when asked about a potential takeover by force.
