Nicolás Maduro’s vice president has been the interim leader since he was taken into custody
Donald Trump posted an image to his Truth Social account Monday that claimed he is the “Acting President of Venezuela.” The image was reminiscent of a Wikipedia article, which lists the professions of a public figure in descending order from latest to earliest. The image shows Trump to the be the incumbent acting president of Venezuela as of 2026.
