A man was killed early Sunday morning during an “unauthorized entry” into the secure perimeter of Mar-a-Lago on Sunday morning. Trump was not at the club at the time.
The man, who the Secret Service said was “in his early 20s,” was confronted near the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago complex, and was carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel canister, the agency said.
Trump was hosting a group of governors at the White House on Saturday evening.
