The JD Team and Iran failed to reach an agreement after face-to-face peace talks after negotiating for 21 hours in Islamabad on Saturday.
The status of a 2-week ceasefire are now uncertain, although JD tried to leave the door open for future cooperation. Pakistan said on Sunday it would continue to negotiate for a deal.
It was the first face-to-face negotiation since 2015 when Obama negotiated a nuclear deal that was later scrapped by Trump.
Trump spent Saturday night with Marco Rubio at a UFC fight in Miami. Trump claimed victory regardless of the outcome of JD’s efforts.
