Steve Bannon is among those who are skeptical that text messages allegedly sent by Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer to his roommate are real.
“You’ve gotta get to the bottom of these groups, you’ve gotta get to the bottom of antifa, you’ve gotta see if there’s any connections to Butler,” he continued.
Bannon has also called for an investigation into Utah’s Republican governor, Spencer Cox, describing him as being “part of the problem” that resulted in Kirk’s murder.
Bannon and others in the MAGAsphere are following the narrative that the left is really after Trump and his supporters.
Conspiracy theorist Candace Owens isn’t buying it either, saying the texts are doctored.
Candace has suggested that Kirk, a longtime supporter of Israel, was beginning to have “rational thoughts about Israel” in the months before his death, and thinks that billionaire activist Bill Ackman made threats against Kirk as a result.
