The Fascist Felon’s Attack on Free Speech

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, The Fascist Felon told them that “regulators should consider revoking the licenses of broadcasters that air negative coverage or commentary of him, indicating that his assault on critics’ language is motivated at least in part by personal animus.”

“I have read someplace that the networks were 97 percent against me, I get 97 percent negative, and yet I won and easily,” Mr. Trump said as he returned to Washington following a state visit to Britain, adding: “I would think maybe their license should be taken away.”

Yes, they are allowed to do ‘that.’ It’s called the First Amendment, you incompetent, fascist felon!

Trump: "When you have a network, and you have evening shows, and all they do is hit Trump… They're not allowed to do that."

Trump's vengeful tone shows he genuinely doesn't support First Amendment rights. He's an instinctive tyrant waging war against America's Constitution & founding principles. As Benjamin Franklin warned, "Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech."

Besides the (mis) administration’s influence and pressure to have late night shows cancelled that have been critical of them and their new martyr, Charlie (Nazi) Kirk, the White House has moved to target the tax status of liberal groups, monitor online speech, deny visas and threaten to designate certain groups as domestic terrorists. The administration has argued such measures are necessary to crack down on hate speech that could incite violence, even as Democrats and others warn that it amounts to a crackdown on opposing views.

However, in a statement the lone member of the Democratic Party on the F.C.C., Anna M. Gomez, said the commission “does not have the authority, the ability or the constitutional right to police content or punish broadcasters for speech the government dislikes.”

“We cannot allow an inexcusable act of political violence to be twisted into a justification for government censorship and control.”
