Trump Pardons 77 People Who Worked to Overturn the 2020 Election Results

In another lame attempt to try to rewrite history, Trump signed a proclamation, apparently on Friday, that pardoned 77 allies who were accused of trying to subvert the results of the 2020 Presidential election that President Joe Biden won by receiving 81.2 million votes to Trump’s 74.2 million votes.

Justice Department Pardon Attorney Ed Martin posted the list on Sunday which included Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, Jeffrey Clark and others, as well as several fake electors from various swing states. Some faced state prosecutions, while others were never charged.

The pardons are largely symbolic as none of the people listed were ever charged with federal crimes. Dozens of people listed were charged in multiple swing states that were the center of unfounded claims of election fraud, including Georgia, Nevada, Arizona and Wisconsin. Presidents do not hold the power to pardon state crimes.

Karo-lyin’ Leavitt statement:

“These great Americans were persecuted and put through hell by the Biden Administration for challenging an election, which is the cornerstone of democracy,” adding: “President Trump is putting an end to the Biden Regime’s communist tactics once and for all.”
