Jim Jordan Releases Jack Smith’s Testimony on Trump’s Guilt

Former DOJ special counsel Jack Smith’s testimony to the Republican led House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Gym Jordan, was released to the public — on New Year’s Eve.

Smith led the prosecutions of Trump until Trump won the 2024 election, effectively ending any attempt at holding Trump criminally liable for his attempts to overturn a free and fair election, and for his concealment of classified documents at his Florida shithole Mar-a-Lago, and his obstruction of the DOJ to retrieve them.

  • In the testimony released on Wednesday, Smith argued that evidence proved Trump was criminally liable in both cases beyond a reasonable doubt.
  • Smith’s sworn testimony repeatedly underscored that his conclusions were drawn by evidence, not politics.
