The Police Officers Association of Michigan issued an apology on Tuesday for an “unauthorized” Sunday Facebook post that claimed Ted Nugent would be sticking it to the “woke scum” by sending food to “starving ICE agents” who were not being served by liberal-owned restaurants in Minneapolis.
The post was issued one day after the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, and there is no confirmation that Ted Nugent is sending a metric ton of hot, smoky food to Meal Team Six in Minneapolis.

On Tuesday, POAM President Jim Tignanelli issued an apology, stating that the post had been made without prior review or authorization by a vendor.
It is unclear who the vendor is or why the vendor was posting to the POAM’s Facebook page without approval.
“We recognize the language used in the post was inflammatory and want to be clear, it does not reflect POAM’s values or positions as an organization,” Tignanelli wrote. “Already, we have implemented changes to our internal review and approval processes to prevent a recurrence.
“The vendor staff member responsible for the post has been dealt with and removed from these duties.”
