Rudy Giuliani, 81, former New York City and America’s Mayor, is in a Florida hospital in critical condition according to his spokesperson.
The spokesperson, Ted Goodman, did not give specifics about when or where Giuliani was admitted, but specified he was in critical but stable condition.
“Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak,” he said, before asking “that you join us in prayer” for the former mayor.
Giuliani told viewers Friday on his X show “America’s Mayor Live” that his “voice is a little under the weather, so I won’t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do.” He’s seen coughing a few times on the streamed program.
Trump, who never rejects an opportunity to exploit a tragedy, sent out his thoughts, but not prayers, for his old friend Rudy, and seemed to blame Democrats for Rudy’s ill health.
Oh, and Trump makes Giuliani’s medical emergency all about his election loss.
