Signs today are encouraging that the war is over with Iran.
After trying unsuccessfully to force a deal with Iran to agree to “not acquire a nuclear weapon,” and unsuccessfully safeguarding the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz with “Project Freedom,” Trump appears ready to retreat.
Trump announced on Wednesday morning a “pause” on Project Freedom, and said if Iran agrees to an assumed deal, Operation Epic Fury is over.
The developments come as a surprise, likely to Marco Rubio, who spent time with the press on Tuesday explaining the necessity of the war, and of “Project Freedom,” only hours before Trump TACOed out and paused the operations.
What seems encouraging is that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard released their own statement, alluding to a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz if there is “an end to the aggressors’ threats.”
“With the end of the aggressors’ threats and in the shadow of new procedures, the possibility of safe and sustainable passage through the Strait will be provided.”
Still, the Paper Tiger President yells on Truth Social that the bombing will continue if Iran doesn’t play nice.
