Trump’s State Fair Shuts Down

Trump’s bigly “Great American State Fair” shut down on Friday at 1:00 pm as temperatures soared, and first responders were seen treating some attendees for heat exhaustion. Announcers said the event would reopen at 5:00 pm as temperatures may begin to decline.

A rodeo on Thursday had also been postponed due to the heat.

Temperatures on Friday were expected to reach 103 degrees, and 102 degrees on Saturday according to the National Weather Service.

Despite the high temperatures, Trump is still expected to expel a bunch of hot air at Saturday’s event.

Saturday’s events are also postponed until 7:00 pm, with a 5:00 pm entry. Trump says he will still deliver a long speech on Saturday “just to prove that he can do anything.”

There is also a concert planned, and a record-breaking fireworks display. The pyrotechnics, nearly 850,000 effects, will be managed by the same folks that managed the State Fair. Sources are concerned about the logistics of the event that presents a bigly security challenge alongside providing enough water and shelter for people’s safety.

Air quality is expected to be hazardous for the elderly and for those with conditions like asthma.

There is also the possibility that the extreme heat and a promised long-winded speech from Trump could dissuade crowds from attending on Saturday.
